- Authors
BHATIA, VIJAY K.
- Abstract
The article deals with the concept of international commercial arbitration. Initially proposed by the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), international commercial arbitration was implemented by the United Nations General Assembly by its Resolution 2205 of 17 December 1966 to promote the progressive harmonisation and unification of international trade law. One of the main advantages of arbitration is immediate resolution of disputes. The author discusses various issues on the enforcement of arbitration.
