- Abstract
The article discusses the legal considerations under the Internet Employment Privacy Act (IEPA) in Utah. It cites scenarios that may involve the business interests of clients to snoop on electronic communications of employees. It explains the scope and limitations of IEPA which prohibit employers from taking adverse action against employees for undisclosing personal Internet access or passwords but not from requiring disclosure of the actual content that is of concern.
