- Abstract
Perioperative nurses' actions surrounding cardiac surgery are crucial for patient recovery. Detecting risk factors for delayed surgical recovery contributes to development of care plans to minimize perioperative complications. Results of this study are relevant to the clinical practice of surgical nurses, confirming nurses are essential in assessing the recovery of patients undergoing cardiac surgery.
