- Authors
Kasanga, Christopher J.
- Abstract
The article focuses on a study related to the molecular characterization of foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMDV) detected in southern Africa north of Limpopo and east Africa with the help of several methods including real time reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction and phylogenetic analysis. Topics discussed under study include use of whole genome sequencing to evaluate genetic relationship and phylogenetic analysis to reveal FMDV endemicity.
