- Abstract
An essay is presented, discussing the opportunities and challenges involved in the translation of the works of Réjean Ducharme, a novelist from Québec, into English. Ducharme's works include "La Fille de Christophe Colomb," translated as "The Daughter of Christopher Columbus," and "Va savoir," translated as "Go Figure." The author's experience of translating Ducharme's novel "Le nez qui voque" into English as "Miss Take" is discussed in detail.
