- Abstract
The article announces two annual prizes awarded by the Victorian Periodicals Review. The Rosemary VanArsdel Prize is given to the best graduate student essay on Victorian periodicals and newspapers, with a cash prize of $500 and publication in the journal. The Expanding the Field Prize is awarded for an outstanding essay that diversifies the existing geographic, racial, and ethnic composition of nineteenth-century periodical studies, with the same cash prize and publication in the journal. The article also calls for proposals from guest editors for special themed issues of the Victorian Periodicals Review.
