- Title
Research suggests 'hidden burden' of bovine TB infection.
- Abstract
The article presents information on research conducted on bovine tuberculosis (TB)infection by researchers from the University of Cambridge and the Animal Health and Veterinary Laboratories Agency (AHVLA). The researchers investigated the importance of cattle-to-cattle transmission in the epidemiology of bovine TB. The researchers suggested that TB testing may be missing many animals harbouring the disease and large herds may suffer more incidence of disease and faster transmission.
