- Abstract
The article presents information on the law and legislation regarding the freedom of speech and a comparison between human rights in context to the European court and the U.S. Supreme Court decisions. According to the European Court of Human Rights the freedom of speech includes the right to shock, disturb and offend. It highlights that the European nations remain neutral regarding value judgments related to religious speeches.
