- Abstract
The article focuses on the impact of medical orders for life-sustaining treatment (MOLST) Paradigm on the status of advanced care planning in Connecticut. Topics discussed include barriers in the implementation of the paradigm in Connecticut, role of the MOLST in understanding the patient's wish of end-of-life as well as treatment and role of the Patient Self-Determination Act (PSDA) in supporting the advance care planning of patient. Do-not-resuscitate orders are also mentioned.
