- Abstract
A conference paper about the effect of TJ135, the Japanese herbal medicine Inchinko-to, and its component on the activation of rat hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) in primary culture is presented. TJ135 was found to suppress the proliferation of HSC by hampering the action of PDGF-BB. In vivo, TJ135 was found to suppress the development of liver fibrosis. This suggests that TJ135 may have a clinical potential suppressing liver fibrogenesis.
