- Abstract
The article discusses a study which examined the synthesis of 4,4'-diacryloylphenyl ether (DAPE) from diphenyl ether and acryloyl chloride via Friedel-Craft acylation. Topics covered include the use of nafion membranes in the fabrication of polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs), the characteristics of DAPE and the measurement of ion-exchange capacity, dimensional stability and proton conductivity.
