- Abstract
The author focuses on the prevalence of Human Papilloma Virus (HIV) which is the causative agent for cervical cancer and on awareness among people for HPV vaccine. He mentions that there are over 150 subtypes of HPV which cause cervical cancer and anogenital warts and also reports that higher incidence of cervical cancer occur in low income countries. Further he informs that people generally lack knowledge about the link between HPV and cervical cancer and about HPV vaccines.
