- Abstract
The article presents information on a study which investigates a cognition-driven motivational action of Indian common crows (Corvus splendens) for perfecting the food-caching behavior and their pilferage attempts. It reflects that corvidae exhibits a superior brain capacity with high cognitive abilities which are comparable to the primates. It mentions that cows usually pilfered the food cached by others instead of fighting for food in a group.
