- Abstract
This article discusses the popularity and history of magic, which dates back to 2500 B.C. The article provides information regarding resources for scholars, researchers, and enthusiasts, who wish to learn about magic, including the American Museum of Magic/Lund Memorial Library in Marshall, Michigan, which was founded by magic aficionados Robert and Elaine Lund and the International Museum and Library of the Conjuring Arts in Las Vegas, Nevada, which is owned by magician David Copperfield. Information on magic can also be found in books including "The Illustrated History of Magic," by Milbourne Christopher and "Magic: A Pictorial History of Conjurers in the Theater," by David Price.
