- Abstract
The article focuses on issue regarding the role of mass media in the criminal justice system of Australia. The media stands in a position between the various elements of the criminal justice system and those whom it affects. The only way that the great majority of the general public find out what is happening is through the screen of the media, despite of several imperfections in media system. However, despite of the imperfections, mass media system in the country is better in than the media systems in several countries.
