- Abstract
The article discusses the synthesis and anti hemolytic activity of disulfates of bisphenols and some carboxylic acids. Activation of the complement system plays a key role in the fight against bacterial infections and in the inflammation process, but it can also lead to the loss of intrinsic cells and tissues. Substances whose molecules contain anion centers are capable of inhibiting the classical pathway of complement inhibition. An analysis of the antihernolytic properties of a large number of polymers and low-molecular-mass compounds resulted into formulation of structural criteria of a high activity of this type.
