CSB criticises Chevron over refinery fire.
Abstract
The article reports on the criticism of the U.S. Chemical Safety Board (CSB) regarding the fire accident at the refinery factory of the energy company Chevron in Richmond, California in August 2012. It says that the fire was caused by a ruptured pipe in the crude processing unit of the plant which suffered from sulphur corrosion. It mentions that the emergency response of the company was also criticized by the CSB.
