- Abstract
The article explores a passage in the speech "Pro Milone," by Roman scholar and lawyer Marcus Tullius Cicero which mentioned Roman politicians Titus Annius Milo and Publius Clodius Pulcher. Topics discussed include the argument presented by Cicero with regard to the character of Clodius, the alleged hatred of Clodius for Milo acknowledged by Cicero, and the terms which may refer to the attempted prosecution of Clodius by Milo.
