- Abstract
The article focuses on the problems of preservation of biodiversity as well as the preservation of rare endangered plant species. An overview of study of Forest F., for the evolutionary approach to plant conservation is presented. The article cites the genus richness of South African Cape region with more than 9000 species, the evolutionary radiations in the Western region, and stresses on region-wise preservation of closely related flora, excluding other regions, as the best strategy.
