- Abstract
We propose an engineering geometry method for modeling the performance characteristics of dryer fabrics made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET) yarns for the papermaking industry. The models can allow us to determine the following characteristics: the tensile forces and tensile load-strain diagram for stretching of the fabrics in the longitudinal direction; the work done by the tensile forces and the air permeability in the working strain ranges.
