- Abstract
To know the content and distribution of rare earth elements elements(REEs) in chrysanthemum in different producing areas, and futher to use REES to determine the origin producing areas of chrysanthemum, chrysanthemum samples were digested by hydrogen peroxide and nitric acid, and the ICP-MS was employed to count the REEs. The results showed that there were good linear relationships among REEs in the concentration range of 0-50 μg/L. The correlation coefficients of each REEs were above 0.999 6, and the detection limit of the method was in the range of 0.03 μg/kg-0.60 μg/kg. The measurement results of the standard substance were within its reference value range. By analyzing the 91 samples from 3 main producing areas, we found the content of REEs in samples from different areas was quite different. and the average content of rare earth oxides(REOs) in samples from Tongxiang, Zhejiang province was significantly higher than the others, which was 1.7479 mg/kg. Light rare earth elements(LREE)in chrysanthemum samples from Huangshan accounted for 68.77 % of the total REEs, which was significantly lower than the other two regions. The ratio of LREE to heavy rare earth elements (HREE)in samples from 3 producing areas was close to each other. REEs content analysis showed that chrysanthemum samples from Huangshan had achieved good discrimination effect.
