- Abstract
The article offers a study on the native structure of high-density polyethylene that was deformed by the delocalized-crazing mechanism, which was investigated through atomic-force microscopy. The study involves the use of 25 μm thick high-density polyethylene films that were made by melt extrusion with subsequent blow molding. Furthermore, the result shows that the deformation of crystalline polymers in absorption-active liquid media happens in amorphous regions in between the lamellas.
