- Abstract
The article presents a study which examines the stem sap flows of the Artemisia ordosica plants and its environmental effects in the revegetated Tengger Desert, China. The study uses a heat balance method for the water requirement and the eddy covariance for the environment factors. The study shows that the precipitation affected the relationship of the sap flow rate and reference evapotranspiration, while the soil water content resulted a coincident variation with the leaf area index.
