- Abstract
This article focuses on correlates of locus of control among male alcoholics. Alcoholic patients included in this study were 162 male voluntary admissions to an inpatient vocational rehabilitation program associated with a state mental hospital. All alcoholic patients were detoxified, and most had been referred to the program from public inpatient or outpatient alcohol treatment programs. Results of the study indicate that locus of control is not independent of other psychological constructs among alcoholics.
