Topics discussed include response of trade associations to Energy Secretary Perry's request for a study on impact of renewables on the electric grid, Washington Post report on cut in Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)'s Energy Star program in the fiscal year 218 budget and role of laboratories run by the U.S. Department of Energy.
