- Abstract
In this article the authors reflect on the proposed greenhouse gas legislation of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). It highlights that the supporters of fossil fuels including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the National Mining Association and states such as Texas, have sued the EPA to stop the enforcement of its greenhouse gas regulations. It also states that the fossil fuel industries are emphasizing that low-carbon economy will hurt the U.S. economy.
