- Abstract
This article focuses on the following stages: to study the chemical composition of the soil of Beskaragai district and to define micro-and macroelements of watermelon by X-ray spectral method and mass spectrometry method; determination of moisture; determination of pH of the soil; determination of the specific activity of gamma emitting radionuclides 226Ra, 232Th, 40K, 137Cs and 235U. According to the obtained results, a close relationship was determined between the content of heavy metals in the soil of the examined object and their accumulation in the watermelons. The pH values of the soil were in the range of 7.09-7.11. The specific activity of gamma emitting radionuclides of soil did not exceed the maximum allowable content of gamma emitting radionuclides.
