What's so Different About Today's Kids?
- Authors
Wade, Garth
- Abstract
The author reflects on the differences between children in the new generation and those who were born earlier. He noted that these two groups of children differ not just in the technological innovations that invaded the society but also in their health aspects. Children born in the new millennium seem to have health problems such as diabetes, asthma, allergies and even heart disease. Moreover, he sees the need for community reform due to risks of drugs, alcohol, smoking, and abuse exposure.
