- Abstract
The article presents two case studies about a 31-year-old woman with recurrent itchy erythema and a 41-year-old woman with itchy oedematous erythema. The abnormalities on the skin occurred after they used a Japanese mattress gel-sheet capable of cooling the body. Patch tests were performed and found out the patients had positive reactions for octylisothiazolinone contained in the gel sheet.
