- Abstract
The article focuses on a study that investigates the pathogenicity and prevalence of Fowl glioma-inducing virus (FGV) that belongs to avian leukosis virus subgroup A (ALV-A) derived from the endogenous retrovirus ev-1. The study reveals that the viral strain has the ability to induce fowl glioma and can also induce myocardial abnormality. It mentions that fowl glioma-inducing ALVs show high similarity to ev-1.
