- Abstract
The article presents a study on the antiviral activities of anti-M2 ectodomain (M2e) monoclonal antibody (clone rM2ss23) on different influenza A virus strains. It was observed that rM2ss23 adheres to both H1N1 (PR8) M2 and Aichi proteins expressed in the cell surface. The results demonstrate that rM2ss23 inhibits virus release from infected cells.
