- Abstract
The article presents a study on the properties of irradiated ostrich meat. The study was conducted by a group of researchers which involved the investigation of the detection of irradiated ostrich meat using the DNA comet assay and hydrocarbon determinations by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The result of the study revealed that comets with long tails were observed in irradiated meat while intact cells with slight comets were observed in nonirradiated controls.
