- Abstract
The 2013 research campaign focused only on two excavation units, which generated evidence suggesting that a greater area was habitated than previously observed, during the 1957-1958 research. The 2013 research campaign was conducted by opening two units of digging (S1 - 10m/2m and Cas.1 - 2m/2m), situated south-west from the research undertaken in 1957-1958. S1 uncovered three complexes, two partial dwellings (Noua Culture) and a sewage pit (4th century AD). In Cas.1, various ceramic fragments (8th to 10th centuries AD) were discovered. Additionally, a topographic analysis was undertaken for the „Râpa Glodului” site (topographic uplift). In 2014, the research led to the opening of another unit of digging (S2 -10m/4m) that unveiled two sewage pits, one containing archaeological material belonging to Noua Culture and the other containing material belonging to Sântana de Mureş-Cernjachov culture.
