- Abstract
Chemistry has an image problem and is often seen as a counterplayer to nature and biology. In order to improve the reputation of chemistry, stories should be told that explain the origins of nature and evoke positive emotions. There is a gap between the natural sciences and the humanities, which leads to problems in understanding and implementation. Popular non-fiction books about biology tell stories and evoke emotions, while chemistry has fewer fans. In order to change this perception, chemical narratives should be created that establish a positive connection to biology.
