- Abstract
The article investigates pasteurellosis in lumpsucker Cyclopterus lumpus that are farmed in Norway. Topics include the use of cleaner fish lumpsucker increasing dramatically in Norwegian and Scottish aquaculture as well as the Norwegian Veterinary Institute diagnosing systemic infection with the Pasteurella single species (sp.) in 16 different aquaculture facilities. Also mentioned are the combined observations from field and laboratory studies supporting the hypothesis on Pasteurella sp.
