Abstract
This section presents an abstract of the article "Remodeling Social Security for the Twenty-First Century," by Sharon F. Canner. An aging population and fewer contributing workers are two issues that are facing the Social Security system. One option being proposed to save Social Security is allowing the investment of part of current payroll taxes into the private market.
