- Abstract
Interprofessional learning (IPL) involves the shared education by members of at least two different professions, such as doctors and nurses, to improve collaboration and quality of care. In dermatology, specialist nurses have a wealth of experience in managing patients with skin disease and their role could provide a valuable learning resource for undergraduate medical students. We share our experience of integrating nurse led IPL for the medical student dermatology teaching programme and the role of IPL in implementation of the British Association of Dermatology (BAD) Undergraduate (UG) Curriculum.
