- Abstract
The article discusses issues related to availability of a Special Education Resource Teacher (SERT) for mathematics classroom of a typical Grade 9 or 10 Applied Mathematics classroom. Topics discussed include advantages and disadvantages of this typical setting, complementary instructional strengths of the Regular Classroom Teacher (RCT) and the SERT completely within the classroom context, and need to explore various co-teaching models based on time-sensitive and content sensitive factors.
