- Abstract
The article emphasizes that technology and engineering teachers should teach students things which they can apply in careers such as civil and environmental engineering to promote sustainable development. It is mentioned that K-12 teachers should look to university professors as a valuable information resource when determining how the application of basic engineering principles can be incorporated into the class.
