- Abstract
The article presents reflections on how to interweave art, body and technology in action in the current physical-virtual context, taking Clemencia Echeverri's project Voice as a common thread. The Voice project is an interactive piece of art which suggests a virtual environment to be explored by a significant viewer. It is proposed as a case of disruptive immaterial art which decentralizes the perception of the eye to prioritize sound and spatiality. Voice is crossed by technological interfaces and symbolic interfaces that also articulate subject-art-society and present and past, museological-space prison-space at the same time. Art and technology, work of art and its audience, body and voice, words and subject are articulated. In Voice, the ultimate purpose of interactivity in the virtual field is made explicit: the intersubjective encounter. From these notions, the construction of technology is approached as a phenomenon that exceeds the technique and the production of artifacts to permeate, as a sociotechnical phenomenon, the subjective, social and cultural dimension.
