- Abstract
The article presents the story concerning the suicide of English author Virginia Woolf, which occurred on March 28, 1941. According to the coroner who examined her, she took her life when she was still mentally unstable. The suicide letters she sent to her husband, Leonard Woolf and two children, were considered by experts including Roger Poole as an expression of despair although others argue that the messages were made due to her mental health issues.
