An essay is presented which discusses the transnational aspects of the U.S. wedding industry's services for Asian Americans from the 1990s through the early 2010s, including in regard to bridal photography and fashion. An overview of the depiction of romantic love in bridal photography, including idealized versions of romantic love, is provided.
