- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates the derivation of melt-out date (MD) and basal-ripening date (RD) in diverse topographic situations around Piz Corvatsch mountain in Saint Moritz, Switzerland. The study uses spatial clusters of ground surface temperature (GST) measurements. Results show accurate correlation of mean annual GST, MD, and RD.
