- Title
The Rosetta Stone.
- Abstract
The article chronicles the Rossetta Stone in the British Museum. The stone was discovered by Napoleon Bonaparte's soldiers who invaded and occupied Egypt in 1799, however, it became the property of Great Britain when the British defeated Napoleon. It discusses that the inscription on the stone is a decree which was inscribed in hieroglyphs, demotic and Greek. It is also cited that Egyptians hope that the stone can be loaned for the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza, Egypt.
