A biography of Selwyn Muru, painter, sculptor, playwright, musician, pioneer broadcaster, fisherman, educator, and former orator is presented. He founded Te Toi Hou, the Māori Art Department at Elam School of Fine Arts and taught about Māori for the University of Auckland.
