- Abstract
A reprint of the article "Rate of Delivery of Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatments Does Not Affect Response in Soft Tissue Radionecrosis," by N. B. Hampson and J. M. Corman, which appeared in the 2007 issue of the journal "Undersea Hyperbaric Medicine" is presented. It says 30-40 HBO2 treatments are normally suggested for soft tissue radiation necrosis (STRN). It states outcome was more favorable in patients receiving 30 or more total treatments, as compared with fewer. It was found that hyperbaric oxygen effectively treat soft tissue radionecrosis.
