A speech by Anne Marie Lane Jonah, delivered before the Royal Nova Scotia Historical Society on April 20, 2011, is presented. It focuses on letters found in 1757 on the captured French ship Le Dauphin, bound to Louisbourg in the French colony of Île Royale from Bayonne, France.
