- Abstract
The article reports on the impact of Theresian and Josephine reform on the Obersthof marshal office in the Habsburg monarchy of Austria. It is opined that none of the Imperial High Court offices was more affected than the small Obersthof marshal office during the reforms. It is reported that the Obersthofmarschallamt had in it both the criminal and the civil jurisdiction to the Lower Austrian Cede government.
