- Abstract
The article focuses on the relationship between the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the United States. Topics include the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC), the ICC's effect on the international rule of law, and the U.S. role in international law after World War II. Also discussed are the ICC's goal of ending impunity for mass atrocities, the U.S. status as a non-signatory in the ICC, and suggestions for how relations between the U.S. and the ICC could be improved.
