The article offers information on the Amendment Nine of the Missouri Constitution related to constitutional protection of electronic data and communications from government intrusion. Topics discussed include U.S. Supreme Court case Riley v. California related to warrantless search and seizure of digital contents; principal of electronic data and electronic technologies involving third party collection of cell site location information (CSLI); and Missouri law prior to Amendment Nine.
